Lost Nativity

Last year we received the little people Nativity and the kids loved it. I loved it because they left my nice one alone and stopped loosing baby Jesus which was usually wrapped up in a tissue because according to Addison he was cold I thought it was cute but I was afraid of throwing him away. So this year when we got out our stuff out we could not find the Little people set i tore everything out and looked everywhere for it could not find it. And the girls where so sad I was so sad, I knew that baby Jesus was going to be wrapped up again and this time I was going to throw him away. So the other day I was in the girls room putting some stuff away and plop right on my head came the Nativity set. We were so excited and jumping up and down so excited. Yahoo baby Jesus is not going to be thrown away saved for one more year.

Nutcracker Practices

Addison is in the Nutcracker as a Snow Puff this year and is loving it. She is always telling me stories of what happens in the backstage and who is in trouble and what they get to watch on the T.V she loves the snow pricesses who are very beautyful as she puts it .She is very in awe of the toe dancers and their shoes. She keeps asking me how do they do that. And does it hurt their toes? She thinks the whole makeup and dressing up in a tutu is very wonderful. Here are a couple of pictures of the practices.

Ginger Bread House

This week I have been busy with Addison for Nutcracker Practice. K'Lee got to go spend the evening with Grandma B and they decorated Ginger Bread houses. She loved it and was very proud of the village her, Jamie and Grandma B made.

Girls Choice

Jamie oh Jamie my sweet sister I love you very much. I must my mom and I put together a girls choice dinner and scavenger hunt for Jamie and her friends we had tons of fun doing the dinner and putting the Hunt together. I am sure I am not up to par with aunt Ronda but I did my best. We had Chicken cor don blue, margaritas, salad, bread sticks and a ice cream bar. They played the WII why we waited for the couples to come to the house after the hunt. My mom and I bought stuff for the scavenger hunt and at each clue they had to put stuff on it was funny to watch them coming in with feather boas, Preston High Shirts, Star sunglasses, bandannas. Here are some fun pictures.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent the day with my family and it started early with a breakfast of biscuits and gravy yummy and off to the Benson for a wonderful yummy dinner ans great company of family. Here are a couple of pics of the dinner. I didn't get one of the girls due to the fact they were off and running and playing with cousins so here are a couple of Tucker's first Thanksgiving.

Addison and future husband

We have some friends who we get together every once and awhile their kids are all about the same age as ours. Addison friend is Aiden he is so sweet and loving. They get along so good and love to play together. My biggest hope for my girls is that when it is time to find a husband they find one that they find one with good qualities that treats them with respect and unconditional love, Who will honor their priesthood and the be close to the gospel. And if I could pick a husband for Addison it would be this sweet little boy Aiden.

Tucker

He has grown so much these past weeks. He has been rolling over, Laughing, and has lots of smiles, for sister, daddy, or mommy. He loves to be where everyone is and being played with. At his 4 month check up he was 12 pounds 15 ounces and 25 inches long. He was in 25 per cent for weight and 75 for height.

My K'Lee

K'Lee has grown up so much since she has started school. I have loved watching this but it has also made me a little sad that she is getting bigger and not my baby anymore. She loves going to school and there is never a look back when she gets on the bus. Just bye mom and a blown kiss. She has made so many new friends and comes home with all kinds of new stuff she has learned. She loves writing and spelling new words she likes to read and do math problems. When we do get a moment of time by ourselves she likes to sit close to me and cuddle with me and tell me how much she loves me and thanks me for being her mom. Then she proceeds to tell me everything she had done that day. She is such a blessing in my life. Thanks K'Lee for being my Daughter.

Tucker's first haircut

Tucker has not lost any of his hair so as his head get's bigger the hair gets thinner and he now had some bald spots and the hair was getting longer past the ears and down around his neck. And I had no idea how to fix it and look cute and not scrounge look. So I asked my sweet friend Annette to cute his hair. It's way cute but has made him my little boy not my baby it took me a couple of days to get used to it. The more I look at him I see my dad in what do you guys think?

Happy Halloween

For Halloween Grandma Cid made the girls costumes and they turned out so cute. And Tucker was whatever I could find. THANKS GRANDMA CID for the awesome costumes. K'Lee was Mrs Frankenstein and Addison wanted to be a ballerina and a witch so I combined them and she was a Witch Ballerina. On the 30th we had our ward party so we dressed up and then on Saturday we dressed up the girls again and went out Trick or Treating. They had tons fun Addison kept wanting to go to more doors she loved it K'Lee just had fun seeing all the cool decorations she kept saying mom aren't these cute decorations she loves detail on that kind of stuff. My mom came and helped with the kids and had fun with them. Happy Halloween everyone

Addison Birthday

On Addison's Birthday I dedcided to tackle a Birthday party for her with a Halloween theme. I had 10 little girls in costumes and one mom with a baby who wouldn't sleep. I started to panic a little but I asked a wonderful mom if she would stay and help out which she did. THANK YOU NIKKI we played the witch says, dance music squares and had ghost cookies and rainbow sherbet ice cream. We then opened presents and gave out goodie bags. Then had a family party with pizza and cake and ice cream it was a fun filled day for the sweet little girl.

Conversation with Addison

Since K'Lee has been in school. I have a few more conversations with Addison then I usually do to the fact that K'Lee likes to tell me everything that Addison wants to say or is going to say to me. These conversations have become a favorite part of my day with her. Today we were making cookies for her Birthday Party and she proceeds with this.
Addison: Mom Little Mermaid doesn't wear a shirt.
Me: You are right Addison do you think she needs a shirt.
Addison: I don't know maybe.
Me. Well what do you think
at this point I just want her to give me something because she can come up with some funny stuff
Addison: Mom she is wearing a bra with seashells I think she is cold don't you
Me. Yes I think she might be cold and bras needs to be covered up don't you think
Addison yes but this one is really pretty it has seashells and they sparkle
end of conversation I was laughing due to the sparkles bit. I love that girl she has quite the Imagination. We have crocodiles and zebras and fairies come and play at our house everyday. I love it.

September in a Nutshell

September has been a busy month for our little family. We started with Tuckers blessing. What a wonderful day it was to spend with our family and have TJ give Tucker a name and blessing. Then K'Lee's Birthday we have just a family party and had Cake and ice cream and went bowling and then to firehouse for pizza. K'Lee said her favorite part was when Tony surprised her that is Stacy's boyfriend. And then Soccer started K'Lee has enjoyed it more this year she knows a lot of the kids on her team and they are pink and blue so it's cool. Addison is going to be in the Nutcracker she is a snow puff so she is very excited to do that. We have been busy this month with school and all the fun things in between that we have decided to be introduced to the swine flu and have had the cough and running nose no fever thank goodness so we have gone into hibernation for the week and hope that everyone will be better soon. Here some picture of the events of the month.

My dad and Tucker in his blessing outfit we were in such a hurry in the morning that we forgot to take pictures of Us and just Tucker. And I didn't remember until everything was done and he had puked all over his outfit.

Tucker

My little boy is getting so big. He is starting to smile. This is my favorite stage i love the smiles and coos of a baby.

Salt Stinker

Addison I love her but with the new baby and my nursing she has become quite the little pill. She has found the soap and washed her rocking horse so now the bathrooms stay locked upstairs. She has found the sugar bowl and will sneak into the Kitchen that not hard to do but she will get into the sugar and eat it with a spoon or stick you hand in and lick it off but she manages to dump quite a bit on the floor. This time I got a picture of her salt adventure she dump all the salt out on the stools and made handprints in them I asked her who did this and she told me straight faced and innocent Tucker did mom and the blame game has begun with Tucker poor kid he's not even old enough to roll and he is already being blamed.

Kindergarten here She comes

K'Lee started Kindergarten on Tuesday with a back to school day riding the bus and meeting her teacher. We love her teacher Mrs. Murry. I was really excited for K'Lee and not worried about her until we walked into the class room and she started to cry I was totally shocked she was so excited to ride the bus and meet her teacher. So her to cry made me nervous We introduced her to a little girl Sydnee and by the end of the hour we were there they were fast friends talking and K'Lee showed her the tongue trick by putting her tongue to her nose. They were giggling and having fun. TJ then met K'Lee on Thursday and had her show him where her class was and her seat she gave him a bump the rock and said bye dad. No problems after that day she has been so excited to go to school, just a long wait in the morning she gets on the bus at 11:40 so all morning she is watching the clock for the time to walk to the bus stop.

Three Weeks of Fun

Well since Tucker was born a lot has happened. We have been to the Doctor 8 different times with jaundice and two week appt and now weight checks I hope this ends soon. K'Lee and Addison have been smothering him every chance they get they love the little guy. We bought a van now I have joined the van squad. The girls have been camping with Grandma and Grandpa Burbank and the next week Grandma and Grandpa Benson and have loved spending the time with them what awesome parents we have to help take care of the girls during this adjustment and getting away from a ornery mom from lack of sleep. I have learned it takes longer to get everyone ready to go somewhere. And babies can actually project spit up several feet away. Here are some random pictures of the doing of the last three weeks now rodeo weekend here we come.
