5K

I have been very amazed at the way I have stuck to running especialy after Heather left me to myself to run. I will admit that I do get bored running by myself but It has completely helped me with my stress level and my energy level has been boosted. Granted that I am tired by 9:30 but I think that has to do with up at 5 to run. Today I ran a 5K race it was more for fun but I ran the whole thing. I have to say YES!! HIP HIP HORAY for me. I tried to stay up with a lady I know but she has been training for a marathon and just ran it so she had told me that she was going to run slow and just take it easy yeah right I stayed pace with her the first half and when we turned around she picked up the speed took off so I tried but I just laughed and said no way I'll just stay at my pace. I finished 5 with a time of 35 mintues not the best time for me but they put a hill right at the end which in my opion is wrong dead wrong. I didn't make the course so we'll see I hope to run at least two more the next couple of weeks. Sorry about the bragging but I was just excited that I did it and completed my goal for the summer.

Addison

I'm not sure who I have told and who I have not but I wanted everything taken care or before I wrote on the blog. During our Disney adventure Addison had a crying spell it's kinda hard to explain but she looks like she is haveing a temper tantrum but we have no reponse from her like the light is not on. Anyway she had her 18 month appt. and I talked to my doctor about it and what I needed to do to help her. Dr Brown awsome Dr. Brown told me that he wanted to me to go to Primary Children's hospital to be evaluated before that happened we had a EEG done about a month ago. We had to keep her awake until midnight and then wake her up at 4:00 a.m and keep her awake until the test which started at 8 this was really fun she did really great until about 11:30. We played games, chased her, tickled her and chased her again at 4 I woke her up and we took a very long bath with bubbles, painted finger nails and toe nails. We then proceeded to the test. After the test we were given the results of normal I then talked to the doctor about Primary Children again if to keep the appointment. Which he said yes for a peace of mind for you and to make sure I did not miss anything. On Tuesday June 24th we went and what a amazing place wonderful nurses and doctors they make you feel at ease and comfortable ( I could go on about nice things to say.) And after the examination and talking, question from both sides and Addison putting in her two cents the doctor said that she is a perfect little girl with a intense personality and that we needed to watch for frustration and stress from her and teach her on how to control the emotions. We as parents were relived and put to peace. All I can say is what a wonderful time we live in to have these doctors who have studyed and can help us. So now all I can is watch out world here comes Addison. She is such a determined and opionated little peanut who has this great personality with lots of love and smiles to give. Sorry for the ramble I just thought I would let everyone know.

Camping (read at your own risk)

We have been camping since Wednesday night with Cindy's Family at Emigration Campground and have had quite the adventure. I was notified that our trailer was leaving on Tuesday morning so Monday I was packing and shopping for the trip and trying to remember everything toys, food, clothes I know if I forgot anything I could bring it up Wednesday but why take so many bags when it could be packed once. Tuesday morning came and off went the trailer So Tuesday and Wednesday I spent cleaning and finishing all the last minute things. During all this I was taking K'Lee and Addison to swimming lessons which were tons of fun. K'Lee has improved not so afraid of the water anymore. Addison and I took the mommy and me class Addison loved it until we did the dunking yes I dunked my daughter. on Wednesday we left that night and met up with Boyd and Cindy, Rod and Sherry and Teddy and Don. k'Lee was so excited to go camping she was asking us about every few minutes if we were there yet. Thursday we played rode bikes and 4 wheelers Jer and Jen and Tammy and Richard came around noon. By the end of the day we had 18 people, 3 dogs and fun. Friday another day of visiting and playing K'Lee loves playing with her cousin Luke they became quite attached to the little dog OZ Rod and Sherrys dog. The dog had more walks. commands of sitting, and whatever the kids could come up with. Saturday was the adventure, starting with TJ he wanted to make a trap for a chipmunk he was cutting willows and his saw slipped and cut the skin between the thumb and pointer finger looked pretty deep, Addison was the next victim of her finger pinched on a stool and then a bug bit her on the eye so it became very swollen and crusty. K'Lee last but not least got her finger slamed in the door of our trailer and took the skin off her thumb. Needless to say what a adventure.

Sun

I need the sun to come out and play. K'Lee keeps saying the past couple of days have been not very fun for her. Due to it being rainy and all. I am trying to finish some yard work up so I need the sun to. Addison doesn't care whether there is sun or rain she just wants to be outside all day everyday whether it's cold or hot. Naked or Clothed what a clown.
